I can't say enough about how great NDFCU has been for me. Left our main local bank many years ago because of poor service. Best move I ever made. When ever I have needed a loan or help with anything, they have been there for me. The personnel have been wonderful, friendly and personal. When I needed to refinance my auto loan, they came through with the best rate of any institution. I would highly recommend the Ireland Road branch where I have done business for the last 15 years.
Recently received a mortgage at NDFCU. One of the selling points was "we're local." Now I receive a notice of a new servicer of my mortgage who is out of state. Therefore, payments are not payable locally. I'm very disappointed with this new development.

I've been banking at Notre Dame Credit Union for 10 plus years. When I received my credit card 3 years ago I was not aware of their point system. Last week an employee helped set my online points account up and failed to mention my points were going to expire in 2 days. I called to see if they could reinstate my points since I was unaware that they were expiring. They said they could reinstate the points but they won't. So much for my years of referrals and banking with them.
This place has terrible service. They didn’t explain about their accounts clearly, which result in returned check, but they are not willing to refund the fees incurred. I wasted a lot time contacting them. Initially, the staff agreed to refund but draw back their promise later.
